Spot removal for beige carpets

This week has been interesting in that we have serviced the Beaverton, Tigard and Hillsboro areas and several of our customers have beige colored carpets. Beige carpets tend to show more dark spots than does a carpet of a darker color. Many of the spots in the dining area are either food or liquid spots that came from a plate or glass that spilled. If the spot is cleaned immediately you can use warm water and a white terry cloth towel to blot it up. If you need something stronger, try dish soap in a spray bottle and then again blot it up. remember to blot up as much as possible, you don’t want to leave dish soap in the carpet as it acts a dirt magnet. Carpet Cleaners usually sell or give away professional spotters that work great on removing spots. I hope this has been helpful for everyone with beige carpets.
